Arm's Length

This shortsword has a blade of pale blue steel so thin that it disappears when viewed edge-on. The crossguard is silver, shaped like an open pair of compasses, and the grip is wrapped in dark leather.

Measuring Blade. You gain a +3 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

No Distance. The weapon has 3 charges and regains all expended charges daily at dawn. When you attack with it, you can expend 1 charge to make that attack against any creature you can see, as if it were standing right in front of you. A fine line of light appears on the target.

Cut the Way. As a Magic action, you slash through the air toward a point you can see. The distance between vanishes, and you are standing at that point, provided it is unoccupied. Once this property is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.

Closeness. A creature you attack using No Distance can likewise attack you until the start of your next turn, as if you were standing right in front of it.
