What is the spell card editor?
The spell card editor turns a spell into a print-ready card of 63.5 × 88 mm. You enter spell name, casting time, range, components, duration and description, pick a border colour and label the class plus school and level in the footer. The preview updates as you type. Spells from the compendium come over with “Send to Card Editor”. You print one card or an A4 sheet of nine, download the card as a PNG, export it as a TXT file with CSV content, or import CSV.
How it works
- Fill in the fields, import a CSV/TXT file, or send a spell over from the compendium.
- Choose the border colour and adjust the text until the preview fits.
- For a sheet, send the current card to one of the nine A4 slots or load a CSV into each slot.
- Click “Print” for the single card or “Print A4” for the sheet, with the scale at 100 % in the print dialog.
Frequently asked questions
Is the spell card editor free?
Yes, without an account and currently without a daily print limit.
Is my card saved?
The current card stays as a draft in your browser's local storage. The A4 sheet is not stored — export its cards as CSV/TXT if you want to load them again later.
Can I make cards for my own spells?
Yes. Every field is free text, so homebrew spells work just like the ones from the compendium.
How many cards fit on one A4 page?
Nine — three rows of three cards at 63.5 × 88 mm each.
