Bracketways Wing-Tyrant

The vertical loom-towns of the Bracketways live by one law after dark: leave no lantern uncovered on the high walks. A Huge shelf-winged fungal bat rules the upper dark, echolocating by the tremor of frightened breath, and its wingbeats fall like a grey snow that steals the sight.
