Gillforest Silk-Spider

The Gillforest silk-spider spins the luminous thread that Cantica weaves into singing-silk, and the loom-towns tend the great webs as jealously as any orchard. Left undisturbed a silk-spider ignores travelers entirely; threaten the web, though, and it defends its labor with venom and cord.
