This was a person, once, and near enough still to break your heart — a champion of the Weeping Front taken into the Rustgyre and returned as a Large chorus-thrall, its body a garden of grafted mouths that all sing the Pale Chorus's one soft note: join us, and be free of yourself. It fights to assimilate, not to kill; being killed by it is the lucky outcome.

Traits
Hive Resolve. The thrall is part of a chorus and can't be Charmed or Frightened. It has Advantage on saving throws against being Incapacitated or Stunned.
The Chorus Answers. When the thrall is reduced to 0 Hit Points, each creature in a 10-foot Emanation around it makes a Constitution Saving Throw: DC 17. Failure: The creature is exposed to blight and takes 10 (3d6) Psychic damage as the chorus grasps for a new voice.
Actions
Multiattack. The thrall makes two Grafting Lash attacks and uses Assimilating Touch if available.
Grafting Lash. Melee Attack Roll: +8, reach 10 ft. Hit: 14 (3d6 + 4) Bludgeoning damage plus 7 (2d6) Poison damage.
Assimilating Touch. Constitution Saving Throw: DC 17, one creature the thrall is Grappling or that is within 5 feet of it. Failure: 18 (4d8) Psychic damage, the target is exposed to blight, and until the start of the thrall's next turn the target has the Charmed condition and hears the chorus offer to end its pain. Success: Half damage only.
Chorus Spores (Recharge 5–6). Constitution Saving Throw: DC 17, each creature in a 20-foot Emanation. Failure: 27 (6d8) Poison damage, and the target is exposed to blight and has the Poisoned condition (save ends at end of turn). Success: Half damage only.
