The chaos of a death slaad took root in this body and was driven out again — almost. What is left is someone walking slowly back from a transformation nobody was meant to survive: grey mottled skin, black eyes, claws that keep growing back, and a presence that makes a room quietly rearrange itself around them.
Slaad-Touched Traits
Creature Type: Humanoid
Size: Medium (about 6–7 feet tall)
Speed: 30 feet
As a Slaad-Touched, you have these special traits.
Darkvision
You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet. The grey slaad sees in the dark, and that much of it stayed.
Slaad Claws
Your claws grow back faster than you can file them down. You can use them to make an Unarmed Strike that deals 1d6 + your Strength modifier Slashing damage instead of the usual Bludgeoning damage.
Chaotic Regeneration
Your flesh still remembers how to knit itself. As a Bonus Action, you can regain Hit Points equal to 1d8 plus your character level. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
Caustic Blood
What runs in your veins is not entirely blood any more. You have Resistance to Acid damage.
Chaos in the Blood
Your mind no longer sits where enchantment expects to find it. You have Advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the Charmed condition.
Grey Remnant
The slaad is not all the way out of you, and everyone can tell. Your Charisma score is reduced by 2 and your Strength score by 1, each to a minimum of 3. Unlike other species, this lineage grants you no increase of any kind — it takes something instead.
