Armor (breastplate), uncommon
While you wear the cuirass and the breast is kept polished, you know, on looking at a creature you can see, whether that creature owes you a debt that is written down anywhere, and you know the sum in marks and the instrument the debt stands in — bond, bill, pledge, freight note, or judgment. Looking into the polish of the breast instead shows you the face of the creature that owes you the largest such sum, wherever it is, and shows you nothing of where it is.
The armour reports nothing of debts that were never written down, nothing of what is owed to anybody else, and nothing at all of what you owe. Jorrit Haak wore it once.
The polish must be renewed with rotten-stone for an hour each dawn, or the breast returns the room like any other steel until the hour is put in.
