Provenance: The Quist Sale
An auction catalogue nobody should have annotated.
Not a book about a world but an object out of one: the annotated catalogue to the sale of the late Meinhard Quist, printed by the house of Corvisser & Lutt. A hundred and one lots over four days, each with its statistics and its provenance — and three hands writing in the margins, one of which knows things that happened after Quist was buried. Forty-four magic items, twelve recovered spells, twenty-two stat blocks, ten feats and eight backgrounds, and a private ledger in which the house keeps its variants instead of its truths. Built for the 2024 core rules.
