Traits

Bound to the Place. The echo cannot leave the 15-foot space it occupies and cannot be moved, pushed, pulled, or lured out of it. It has no attacks, takes no actions in combat, and cannot be reasoned with, questioned, or answered.

Reenactment. A creature that enters the echo's space or begins its turn within 30 feet of it must make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the creature takes 2d6 psychic damage and is Incapacitated until the end of its next turn: it is standing in cold water at a gate, and the gate is shut, and it is a child, and it is seen from above and a little to the left, which is the angle from which the plates of this catalogue were drawn. On a success, the creature is unaffected by this trait for 24 hours. The echo begins again at every dawn whether anyone is present or not.

Easily Put Out. The echo has no resistances. Any damage that reduces it to 0 hit points destroys it, and a successful attempt to turn undead destroys it outright. It does not re-form, and nothing else of the drowning is kept anywhere.
