Wondrous item, very rare
The arm has 4 charges and regains 1 charge at dawn.
As an action you can close the silver hand about a creature's limb and expend 1 charge. The creature regains 4d4 + 4 hit points, and any bone broken in that limb is set straight and knits whole in 8 hours instead of in weeks. A bone that has already healed crooked is broken and set again, which the creature feels.
By expending 3 charges and holding the clasp for 1 minute, a limb severed within the last 24 hours is set back, if the limb is present. It knits in 8 hours and afterwards serves as it did.
The bone does the work. Taken out of the silver and held to the break in a cloth, it works exactly as well and to the same count of charges. The silver used empty does nothing at all, and the seals and the certificate upon the plinth speak only of the silver.
